Kawasaki Frontale advances in AFC Champions League

Two second-half goals have given Kawasaki Frontale a 3-2 victory over J League rivals Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League round of 16. Down 2-1 at the half, Frontale replied with Renatinho in the 76th minute and then Kurotsu 5 minutes from time to snatch an unlikely road win and advance to the quarter-finals.

The draw for the quarter-finals takes place next Monday. There are two teams from Uzbekistan, one from Qatar, and one from Saudi Arabia in the west side of the draw, while Japanese team Nagoya Grampus Eight and Korean sides Pohang Steelers and FC Seoul join Kawasaki on the east side. I'm not sure if the draw will mix these sides or not, but will update you next week.
